DIAMOND BAR, CA– Diamond Bar High School parent groups will bring more than a half dozen of the Southland’s most popular gourmet food trucks to a fundraising event on Saturday, February 11, 2012.  The 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST will take place from 11a.m. to 3p.m. in the front parking lot at Diamond Bar High School located at 21400 E. The planned 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST events will benefit Diamond Bar High School parent organizations, called the Magnificent 7, representing the diverse community of students at Diamond Bar High School:  Brahma Boosters, Brahma Foundation, Council of African American Parents (CAAP), Chinese American Parent Association (CAPA), Korean American Parent Association (KAPA), Hispanic Organization of Parents and Education (HOPE), and South Asian Parent Association (SAPA).

“We have this amazing group that represents the various communities of our school,” said Catherine Real, principal of Diamond Bar High School.  “We have been anxious to bring a food truck event to our school and are excited about this delicious fundraising, community event.”

The line-up of trucks will feature Don Chow’s Tacos from “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” on the Food Network, local favorite, the Slummin’ Gourmet, and Sweet E’s Bake Shop truck, featured on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. With more trucks being confirmed, expect a delicious fusion of food items from more than a half dozen trucks, all of whom will donate a portion of sales.
