DIAMOND BAR, CA—Discover a “Whole New World” as Chaparral Middle School presents Disney’s “Aladdin Jr” this week.
The magically updated version of the Academy Award-winning classic is showing February 6, 7, and 8.
“Aladdin Jr.” performances will be staged Thursday and Friday evening at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m.

This beloved story with expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills takes audiences to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail.
Aladdin is down on his luck until he discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes.
Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.
Chaparral’s musical features a cast of 44 student performers showcasing their singing, acting, and artistic talents.
They have spent the last several months learning lines, rehearsing choreography, singing, and designing scenery.
Teachers Scott York - digital video production, Greta Davis – choir director, Taylor Harb - orchestra director, Jennifer Najera - choreography director, and Jennifer Hildebrandt - musical director are heading up the production.
Chaparral Middle School is located at 1405 S. Spruce Tree in Diamond Bar.
