Talented and creative young artists were honored by the Walnut Valley Water District on November 15. With water conservation as the theme, the poster designs of Irene Chang of Evergreen Elementary, Anne Tu of Walnut High, and Diana Lin of Pantera Elementary will be featured as part of the 2010 Metropolitan Water District’s “Water is Life” calendar. Each student was presented with a framed copy of their poster art. Each student’s family, teacher and principal were also invited to attend the awards ceremony.
These calendars that help spread the message of water conservation will be distributed throughout southern California. Congratulations!
