WALNUT, CA— Walnut High School of the Arts is gearing up to bring Disney’s “Newsies” Broadway smash hit musical to the stage.
“This high energy production is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience," said Drama teacher and director Jamie Roberts.
Shows for the Tony award-winning production are March 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 7 p.m., and 1 p.m. matinee on March 18.
Additionally, a special Sensory Matinee will be offered on March 25 at 1 p.m.

“This is a show not to be missed!” Roberts said of the production with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, and book by Harvey Fierstein.
“The magic of theater is its ability to draw audiences deeper into the stories that matter - to demonstrate how standing together in solidarity and seizing the opportunities to create change can elevate our shared human experience,” Roberts said.
