WALNUT, CA—Walnut Valley USD Board of Trustees appointed and welcomed Jane Roh as Director of Educational Projects and Assessments during the August 8 meeting.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Walnut Valley family and look forward to serving students and the community,” the 20-year veteran educator said.

Roh spent the last three years as an elementary principal of a Dual Language Immersion school in Placentia-Yorba Linda USD.

She has also served as a Title I/ELD Coordinator, ELD Instructional Coach, and high school Language Arts Teacher.

Roh holds a master’s degree in education from Concordia University and bachelor’s degree from Occidental College.

She succeeds Dr. Mary Wendland who was appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Student Services in Hemet USD.
