Students Have a Blast at Evergreen!

DIAMOND BAR, CA--On your mark, get set – GO!  And with those starting words, Evergreen students took aim with cans of silly string and sprayed stringy strands of goo on their principal, Dr. Don Trimmer, team captain P.E. teacher Dave Gretz, and each other.

The Silly String Blast event, held on March 28, was a reward for students that participated in the Walnut Valley Unified School District 1K Fun Run or 5K Walk/Run on March 6.

Evergreen students wearing bright green Evergreen Eagle t-shirts came out in force for District’s 2nd annual fundraiser held at Diamond Bar High.

Principal Dr. Don Trimmer promised the treat if 150 students took part – and they did.

“We all had a blast of a good time!” said the principal.

Students took aim at their Principal and Team Captain during the silly string blast on March 28.

The target – a grinning Team Captain Dave Gretz, was covered with stringy goo after students blasted him with silly string.

Students delighted in spraying each other too!
