The County of Los Angeles Mock Trial Competition awarded Chaparral M.S. teacher Enoch Choi with the
Helen Bernstein Award! He was recognized for his commitment and outstanding performance as Mock Trial
Coach for the Chaparral team. The Helen Bernstein Tribute Award was established in 1997 as an annual
award to honor outstanding Los Angeles County Mock Trial Teachers.
To be eligible for the Helen Bernstein Tribute Award, the nominee must meet the following criteria: a minimum
of 5 years of Mock Trial involvement; demonstration of a capacity to inspire learning and to motivate; and
possession a history of emphasizing good sportsmanship and citizenship skills.
