To finish the year strong, three elementary schools hosted family engagement nights to bridge the gap between home and school and foster collaboration and communication.
At C.J. Morris and Castle Rock, families and staff came together as a village and worked to instill the love of learning. Through activities, such as story time, journaling
or puzzle solving, students learned in fun ways. Likewise, the strategies supported parents in their efforts to nurture their child's academic success.
Earlier in the month, at Math Night at Evergreen, together with their parents/guardians, students participated in grade-appropriate math games designed to increase interest in STEM subjects through an enjoyable and shared math experience.
