Walnut Valley Unified School District Begins Enrollment
for 2025-2026 School Year
WALNUT, CA — Today, Walnut Valley Unified School District (WVUSD) begins registration for the 2025-2026 school year for children entering transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades one through five.
Registration dates are as follows:
- January 13-17, 2025 — for resident children with siblings already attending school in the WVUSD.
- January 21, 2025 and on — for resident elementary children new to the district at any grade level.
Parents may register for transitional kindergarten if their child turns 5 years old between September 2, 2025, and September 1, 2026.
Students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2025, to be enrolled in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.
At the time of registration, parents will be asked to present the following documentation:
- A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport.
- Proof of the child’s immunizations, and for kindergarten.
- Proof of an oral health examination (for kindergarten and first grade students).
- Residency verification documents which include these:
- Final escrow papers, mortgage statement or lease/rental agreement.
- A current utility bill (gas, water, or electricity bill).
- A driver’s license (or California I.D.) with current home address.
Enrollment is ongoing, and residence address determines the elementary school where children should be enrolled.
