Evergreen Students Join No-Name Calling Week

DIAMOND BAR, CA--Students at Evergreen Elementary School spent the last week learning to say no to name calling.

The week of January 23rd was national No Name-Calling Week with students making pledges to only use kind words.

Each morning Evergreen student council officers Andrew Chang, Johanna Liang, Amelie Lee, and Mila Chi broadcast an announcement reminding students to act and speak kindly and respectfully to each other.

During the week students wore “Words Can Hurt” stickers and placed posters around the school.
