Chaparral Alum Bringing HAPPY Back
DIAMOND BAR, CA--Chaparral Middle School graduate Danny Batimana is on a journey to awaken youth, help them unlock their true power, and ignite their true power.
The former Chaparral Cougar presented three 50-minute assemblies on March 30.
Batimana’s “Happiness NOW” tour is comprised of high-energy presentations using the power of speech, music, and dance to awaken the youth of the world, help them unlock their true power, and ignite their passion.
The Chaparral Dance Crew, who Batimana has worked with for the past two months and his collegiate group Team Millennia were also featured in the presentations.
“I’m here today on a journey, to find a way to get through to students that success doesn’t necessarily lead to happiness, rather their happiness will determine their success. That one cannot change their past or predict their future, the key to happiness is to enjoy the present moment; hence, happiness is NOW!" he said.
Batimana has extensive experience working with youth and in the areas of dance and choreography. He has been a choreographer for several NBA teams, has owned his own dance studio, taught high school math & leadership, and directed/managed several dance crews (some that have been champions in America’s Best Dance Crew).
