Westhoff Celebrates Cultural Diversity

WALNUT, CA--Westhoff Elementary hosted its annual Culture Fair on Friday, October 11.

Community Club parents organized the event with 17 different cultures represented.

“This is my favorite school activity as it brings all of our families (and neighbors) together to share cultures and favorite traditional foods,” said Principal Denise Rendon.

Students proudly dressed in clothes representing their heritage marched in a parade.

Several children also provided entertainment with traditional dances.

“Many parents and their extended families volunteer their time and energy to make this evening enjoyable for everyone.  I am glad they do,” Rendon added.
