Quail Summit custodian remembered
Quail Summit remembered long-time custodian “Mr. John” Bisaha during a heartfelt gathering on December 2 with the planting of a 20-foot alder tree, tributes, and musical performance by students. Former principals Dr. Carolyn Haugen and Dr. Alysia Hobbs were among the attendees, which included family members, District staff, community members, and retirees. Bisaha, worked in Walnut Valley for over 30 years and was known as the “heart and soul” of the school. The tree dedicated in his honor will shelter and project students, just like Mr. John did throughout his years at Quail Summit.
