South Pointe staff and friends rappel for a cause

South Pointe staffers went “Over the Edge” for a cause on December 5 at the Ontario Airport Hotel. The team of thrill-seekers rappelled 10 stories in support of the Community Senior Services 40th anniversary fundraiser. Team members SSRA Corolar White, JR Dira (teacher Crystal Dira’s husband), Brian Taylor (son of Librarian Gale Taylor), DBHS Librarian Pam Hunter, and Chaparral Librarian Mike Jara and wife, Martha, each raised a minimum of $1,000 for Community Senior Services benefitting seniors living in Pomona, Inland, and East San Gabriel Valley.
