Rock Out!

DIAMOND BAR, CA--Get ready to rock out to your favorite hits from back in the day when the Diamond Bar High School Commercial Music Program presents “That 80’s Show” on March 17.

Talented student musicians are set to perform over 20 chart-topping songs including Sweet Dreams – Eurythmics, Seek and Destroy – Metallica, Don’t You Forget About Me– Simple Minds, Whip It – Devo, Livewire– Motley Crue, One Way Or Another – Blondie, and I Ran – Flock of Seagulls.

 Special guest Oingo Boingo bassist John Avila will join the show during Dead Man's Party.  

“This will truly be great night!” predicts ROP teacher Daryl Hernandez, who is dedicated to helping guide his students toward careers in the music industry.

The Commercial Music Program focuses on students who are interested in becoming performers, and also includes recording, electronic music, engineering and business foundations.

The “That 80’s Show” concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the school theatre.

Tickets are $10 for students and $12 for adults, and may be purchased at http://dbhsmusic.seatyourself.biz or at the door.

Diamond Bar High School is located at 21400 E. Pathfinder Road in Diamond Bar.
