WALNUT, CA—On Monday evening, Diamond Bar High School athletic trainer Chase Paulson was recognized for giving athletes tools for success on the playing field and in life.

Paulson was awarded the Jim Staunton CIF-Southern Section Champions for Character Award during the 14th annual awards dinner held at The Grand Conference Center in Long Beach.

The award recognizes athletes, coaches, administrators, and schools for displaying exemplary character and sportsmanship on the field, on campus, and in the community, that exemplify the core values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

“I am extremely honored, blessed, and encouraged to continue Pursuing Victory with Honor - the CIF motto,” Paulson said.
